Origins
Vineyards: The hills of the Jongieux on the western slope of the Jura anticline, facing south-west and therefore ideally suited for maturing the Altesse grape. The soils composed of sandstone conglomerates and interglacial gravels quickly drain the frequent rains, that are moderated by the rain shadow effect of the Epine ridge.
Grape variety: Altesse, 100%, a variety restricted to the Savoie, matured in oak barrels.
